Purpose
This document outlines the rules and regulations governing agents engaged in student recruitment for Uwezo College. All agents are expected to read carefully and understand these guidelines to be informed of what they are supposed to do as they recruit the students and also what to expect from the college.

Agent Registration and Eligibility
- Anyone is eligible to be an agent of Uwezo College.
- All agents must be registered with Uwezo College LMS.
- Agents must provide valid identification and contact information details in the system for purposes of seamless payment.
- Agents are required read and understand these guidelines and click on the Acknowledgement feature when registering as agents as agreement to abide by these guidelines.

Standard Recruitment Commission
- Agents will receive a commission of 3% of the total tuition fees paid by each student they recruit in a given month.
- Commissions are calculated based on actual tuition fee payments received, excluding scholarships, exam, damage, credits, waivers, attachment fee, graduation fees or any other discounts.

Commission Payment Terms
- Commissions are disbursed at the beginning of each new month, covering payments received in the preceding month.
- Payments will be made via MPESA number provided by the agent during registration.
- A detailed commission statement is provided on the agent's account upon login.
- In cases of student fee refunds or cancellations, corresponding commission amounts will be deducted from future payments.
- Agents are responsible for providing accurate Mpesa details to facilitate timely payments.
- Uwezo College reserves the right to withhold commission payments if discrepancies or violations of this policy are identified.

Agent Responsibilities
- Agents must conduct themselves professionally and ethically at all times.
- Agents are expected to provide accurate and honest information about Uwezo College programs and policies.
- Agents should maintain regular communication with the college regarding recruitment activities, to be updated on any new changes that may arise from time to time.
- Agents must not make false promises or misrepresent the college to prospective students.
- Agents should assist students in the application and enrolment process, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted.

Code of Conduct
- Agents must respect the confidentiality of student and institutional information.
- Agents are prohibited from engaging in any form of discrimination or harassment.
- Any form of unethical behaviour, including but not limited to bribery, falsification of documents, or misrepresentation, will lead to immediate termination of the agency agreement.
- Agents must comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing student recruitment in Kenya.
- Agents should avoid conflicts of interest and disclose any potential conflicts to Uwezo College.

Monitoring and Evaluation
- Uwezo College will periodically assess agent performance based on recruitment numbers, student retention rates, and adherence to ethical standards.
- Agents found to be in violation of these rules and regulations may face suspension or termination of their agreement.
- Regular audits may be conducted to ensure compliance with this policy.
- Feedback from students and other stakeholders will be considered in evaluating agent performance.

Termination of Agreement
- Either party may terminate the agency agreement with a 30-day written notice.
- Immediate termination may occur in cases of gross misconduct, fraudulent activities, or breach of contract.
- Upon termination, agents must cease all recruitment activities on behalf of Uwezo College and not dispatch any further materials on behalf of the college.
- Final commission payments will be processed after settling any outstanding issues.

Dispute Resolution
- In the event of disputes arising from these rules and regulations or the agency agreement, parties agree to seek amicable resolution through mediation.

Amendments
- Uwezo College reserves the right to amend these rules and regulations as necessary.
- Agents will be notified in writing of any changes, which will take effect immediately upon notification.
- Agents are responsible for reviewing and adhering to the updated rules and regulations.
