Course Description

Short Course in Masonry

Masonry is a short course under the Building and onstruction Technology Department of Uwezo College that is carefullycentered on imparting foundational skills in construction and masonry work. This practical 3-month program is designed for individuals aiming to enter the construction industry and requires a minimum grade of a KCPE certificate for enrollment.

Minimum Requirement:

Prospective students are required to hold a KCPE Certificate to enroll in this course.

Course Modules:

  • Basic Masonry Techniques: Learning foundational skills in bricklaying, block laying, and plastering.
  • Construction Materials and Tools: Understanding various construction materials and equipment used in masonry.
  • Building Layout and Measurement: Mastering the principles of layout and measurement in construction.
