Course Description for Certificate II ICT

Certificate Module II in Information Communication Technology (ICT)

The Certificate Module II in ICT is the second stage of the national ICT vocational qualification under KNEC. It advances foundational skills from Module I and trains learners in medium-level computer systems, maintenance, programming, and support operations, preparing them for employment or further studies in ICT.

Entry Requirements

To register for Certificate Module II in ICT, a candidate must have:

  • Successfully completed Craft Certificate Module I (CICT Module I) under KNEC, or

  • Examining Body: Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC)
  • Duration: 12 months (one academic year) under full-time or standard scheduling. Module II is structured to give learners sufficient time for in-depth practical training and completion of all required units.
