Course Description for Certificate II Secretarial Studies

Certificate Module II in Secretarial Studies (KNEC)

The Certificate Module II in Secretarial Studies is the second stage of the modular KNEC Secretarial Studies programme and is designed to deepen the practical and professional office skills acquired in Module I. The course is examined and certified by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) and is taught strictly in line with the official national syllabus.

Entry Requirements (As Per KNEC Guidelines)

To be admitted into Certificate Module II in Secretarial Studies, a learner must have:

  • Successfully completed Certificate Module I in Secretarial Studies (KNEC).

This module is ideal for learners who already possess basic office and clerical skills and are ready to advance to a higher level of professional competence.

  • Typical Duration: 12 months (1 academic year

Assessment is conducted through continuous institutional assessments, practical examinations, and final KNEC national examinations.
