Course Overview
Baking Technology Level 5 is a competency-based programme offered under the TVET CDACC curriculum and is designed to equip learners with advanced practical and technical skills required in the baking and confectionery industry. The course provides comprehensive training in bakery raw materials, bakery plant and equipment, production of yeast products, cake production, cake decoration and pastry products. Learners also develop essential skills in digital literacy, communication, work ethics, entrepreneurship, food safety and professional workplace practices.
The programme combines classroom learning, practical training and industrial attachment to prepare learners for employment, self-employment and further education in the baking industry.

- Observe food safety, hygiene, occupational health and safety standards.
- Apply entrepreneurial, communication, digital and workplace skills in the baking industry.
- Plan and manage baking activities for employment or their own enterprise.
